Job responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance to the Chinese Project Managers by interpreting during site visits, translating in either project (Train-09/Train-06) updates, and bridging language barriers.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English, including reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Strong translation and interpretation skills, ensuring cultural and contextual accuracy.
• Good command of some technical words, as this project requires civil works and relevant materials to understand and communicate
• Attention to detail, with excellent proofreading and editing abilities.
• Familiarity with technical terminology relevant to construction, general contracting, or related industries is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
• Ability to work on-site in Habshan and willingness to collaborate in team-based or independent settings.
• Previous experience as a translator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years on-site translation experience, preferably on adnoc projects
• Strong technical vocabulary related to construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects
• UAE-based with availability to work on-site (Habshan / Buhasa)
• On-site project exposure is mandatory (fresh applicants will not be considered)
